A degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley and further coursework at the College of Arts and Crafts led to Monica’s passion for architecture and an impeccable understanding of space and design. She has applied her education to her career as well as her community; currently serving on the board of California Preservation Foundation and is the past president of Berkeley Architectural Heritage Association, organizations dedicated to creating an awareness of the special architectural character of cities and their neighborhoods, with preservation as the goal.Monica devotes herself to her client’s goals and uses her knowledge of local tradition and architecture to serve as a kind of visual consultant, an invaluable asset in the real estate community.
